"This is absolutely like eating in moms kitchen!!! This chef is absolutely perfect, his mashed potatoes are so creamy and the chicken fried steak is a knock out of the ballpark! He never fails to come say hi and always welcomes you. The waitresses are all so polite as the food comes out piping hot and very quickly. If you want great home cooked meals then Smithfield dinner is your moms table!!!!"

"A friend and I ordered pick-up. I ordered the chicken and biscuits with chicken gravy and asked for an extra serving of mashed potatoes. My friend ordered a burger and fries. She likes gravy on her fries so she ordered 2 containers of gravy on the side. Well, I got home and there was no chicken gravy on the extra mashed potatoes, which were in a separate container. I know it's a little nit-picky, but I ordered and paid for extra so I don't understand why they couldn't put gravy on the extra. My friend got about 10 French fries with her meal, so she was understandably upset that I paid for 2 extra sides of gravy for so little fries. She said, "You get more fries with a fast food meal." Overall the food was good, but cutting corners like that isn't going to keep customers coming back."

"Great diner for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and at good prices! The pies are delicious too!"

"Cute, clean diner with good food, fair prices, & extremely nice staff. I ate the special today: cabbage roll, mash pots, greenbeans, with a dinner roll $9. I had sweet tea to drink & it was perfect. Everyone knows good sweet tea is hard to find. I'm appreciative of how nice the staff was. I'll definitely be going back."

"O my goodness! Do yourself a favor and stop at this Diner. I’m in the area visiting with a friend and I ordered their Friday special of Stuffed Peppers, mashed potatoes and green beans. It was absolutely delicious!!! Also, the raspberry cake was scrumptious. I can’t recommend this Diner enough. I will be stopping again when I’m in the area visiting. Thank you for a great lunch!!"
