"Bank tellers unaware of their own Corporate policies. Opened up a bank account for the $250 promotion and months later still hadn’t received the money. Called Corporate to ask when the money would be hitting the account and they said that money we invested had been deposited incorrectly and they wouldn’t be honoring the promotion. We had asked the teller MULTIPLE times prior to opening the account if we qualified for the promotion by opening up the account on site and writing checks to get it started, and she assured us MULTIPLE times that it would be and that the money would be direct deposited within 60 days. At no point in time did she say that the promotion was only applicable if we made our $500 deposit electronically. I believe that the tellers name was Kathy. Very short lived account. Open and closed my account within 120 days because branches are not properly informed of Corporate policies- and shame on Corporate for not honoring promotions after a customer receives misinformation about the convoluted stipulations."
