"Came here after being a long time customer over at Fiesta Azteca but having had a lot of really bad experiences over there recently-- brought my mom for her birthday today, she wanted Mexican but I was really wary after FA giving my friend food he's allergic to and receiving a sharp piece of plastic in my burrito. And I have to say I was REALLY impressed. My mom was overjoyed with her food, (she got the special dinner and mentioned that the tamale was the best she's had, and she hasn't had good tamale since she moved across the county decades ago). She's big on tamales. I got the Burrito Patron, the Verde sauce was AWESOME and I love avocado, the avocado wasn't brown or mushy like I get in a lot of places. You could really see the effort they put into the plates. But the best part was the server. I didn't catch his name, but he was funny, warm, and kind, and really shines in what he does. Thank you for making my mom's birthday special sir, you are appreciated in your work!"

"Just not that great of a place. Food is mediocre at best, seems like everything is covered in "cheese" sauce. The bar seating absolutely sucks. Stools are too low for the bar, so one feels like a little kid and the adults table. Most of the employees seemed to be going through the motions, not really paying attention."
