Reviews of Ting's Kitchen
"The food is really good. It’s one of our local restaurants that I order takeout, but I also enjoy sitting down and enjoying a meal there. Service is amazing too!"
"Our tai chi group went to tings for dinner after an event. It was wonderful. Sat at a huge round table to share the food. We ordered eleven different dishes to share and each one was delicious. For appetizers I recommend fried shumai. The mei fun shrimp, salt and pepper pork, triple green chicken, garlic eggplant and Mongolian beef were tasty and all main dishes were large enough for us all to get a decent share. 12 of us shared three appetizers and eight main dishes and the bill plus tax was $180. And we were full. Where are you going to get a meal like that for $15 a person plus tip. If you have a party of six or more definitely make a reservation requesting a round table and you won’t be disappointed."
"If I could give Ting's kitchen 10 stars I would. The restaurant is a very understated Szechuan and Taiwanese food restaurant up in the McIntyre Plaza, that is not a very useful plaza, other than the Giant Eagle and a few banks. The hostess Tia ( I think) is wonderfully inviting and makes sure your entire visit is flawless from seating to serving and everything in between. First of all, I had no idea that this was BYOB Or I would Have BYOB'd so make note and see the front of the menu stating such that I have shared in my photos to confirm. We started with a vegetarian spring roll and they were delicious and fresh, and quickly provided, as an appetizer should be. No long wait, and it didn't come when dinner came, a very refreshing change of pace. We asked a lot of questions and we were told we could order most anything on the menu, mixed up in any way we desired and we could even ask for other options and they would prepare if they had the ingredients. The staff was incredibly friendly and happy to add in more suggestions and share great menu options, they didn't just pass off our questions and walk away! The pricing on the menu is beyond fair and the portions are more than adequate. Yes, you can eat meatless options, or seafood, meat, etc. Sticky rice was perfect. The taste was outstanding on both meals (my husband's and mine) which is rare when we BOTH agree that a restaurant is delicious. As a side note: The bathrooms are very well maintained. We visited on St. Patrick's Day Night, so the restaurant was not busy with inside patrons but the takeout was moving! We will be back! It's a good option, especially compared to a few of the other local, overpriced, less than average, in the area similar restaurants."
"Princess Tina is the bestest host I’ve ever met!!! Ting’s food are phenomenal. We ordered beef, pork, prawns, and veggies. They were all very good. Each dish all tastes different. I only remember the name, mayo fried prawns! Everyone has to try that at least once in their lifetime! The rest are all good but I forgot the names. I’ll post photos here and if you show the photos to princess Tina, she will definitely help you."
