"I have been going to them for years to get my hair done and I booked an appointment for January 1st @7am …I get there before 7am and no one is there so I wait about a hour or more thinking they maybe running late. There are also two other cars siting out there waiting as well. I called The numbers listed and there was no answer. So after waiting for a hour or so I left because no one ever showed up. I called the number listed again about two days later and someone answered and I told her what happened and she told me that they were closed that day and they forgot to closed the appointment book for that day! So I requested that I get a refund for my $50 deposit that I paid. I’ve been calling and texting and have yet received my refund and it has been a month now!"

"I have been a customer here for many years and I have recommended many of my friends and colleagues to this business as well. Unfortunately the service has steadily gone down. At one time, when you made an appointment, when you arrived, they would be ready to take you at your appointed time...this is not the case any longer. My daughter and I had 8 am appointments, and I selected to pay more for an additional braider for the both of us. When we arrived at our appointment time, all of the braiders were actively braiding customers hair, with none of them being close to being finished. I was told to check in and have a seat. One of the braiders called the owner to ask what to do because we are there and no one was available, and a discussion was had about another customer, who must have not had an appointment.... but she did. After a few minutes, I asked when we would get started, and I was told that one braider would take my daughter next, but she wasn't even 1/2 finished with the person she was working on. After 30 minutes we left and went to a competitor who took us right in and finished us fast. It is really unfortunate because this was once a very good business. It is hard to understand how you are able to make an appointment and give very specific details and make a $50 deposit, yet they are not prepared to serve you. I will no longer waste my time at this establishment."

"This review is on the same date of service. The salon is clean and staff is nice. I arrived earlier than my appointment time and was immediately seated, which was very nice. HOWEVER, this visit in particular left me not as satisfied as my previous visit. My price was determined by the stylist prior to starting my hair and via a phone call to the main number the day prior. There were not any changes or additional requests made during the service. Unfortunately, by the time I checked out, my price had increased by $20 for no apparent reason. Additionally, the stylist refused to finish the ends of my hair. I informed her that it did not look finished based off of a prior service there for the same style with the same hair. I provided pics for reference. Another stylist came over and showed her how to appropriately finish my ends and she stated that she was not going to do that. My and another stylist attempted to convince me to get curly ends or a wave finish to avoid providing what I wanted. My stylist quit working on my hair and the stylist that provided the guidance of how to do my ends had to stop working on her client to finish my hair. Very disappointing visit. FYI, the pic is approximately 2 hrs after completion (pre-dip) and believe or not is a drastic improvement from how my stylist attempted to leave it- just imagine. I had to come home and dip my own hair in hot water to salvage the look after paying over $200 AND requesting it be done while at the salon but was denied!"

"I decided to leave a review because I felt misled and my results were worse than expected. The picture that I showed the person doing my hair looks nothing like what I asked for. I paid for two stitch braids with a middle part. The part is crooked and not straight and my hair has already come out of the braid in less than 24 hours. Whatever gel they used is flaking in my hair. I had an appointment for 4pm and wasn’t seated until 4:30pm. I gave 2 stars cause the braids look okayish…but they definitely won’t last 2 weeks like I had hoped for."
