"10/10 experience. I requested medium knotless braids and came to the store around 12pm. Ida and another braider worked on my hair until 6pm and took minimal breaks to make sure my hair was done promptly. I am completely satisfied with the way my hair came out and would definitely come again. The price was very reasonable despite how long they spent braiding. Would definitely recommend others to come to get their hair braided here as well."

"For me the styling isn't as neat as I would like it, the parts aren't very neat and clean. But, the ladies there create an atmosphere and experience which makes it worth it. ITS SO CLEAN IN THERE. Probably the cleanest shop I've ever been in. They're friendly and respectful and don't get upset when you correct them if they're wrong. They're a bit more expensive than surrounding shops. As I said, they are everything you want to walk into."

"Kami African hair braiding is the best! I needed to get my hair braided and decided to really take some time to research the salon before I made a choice. I rode around to six different locations. Normally, I would have called around, but I wanted to get a feel of the establishment and speak with the braided in person. Kami's was the last location on my list. I went in, and there were four ladies braiding customers' hair. I was greeted by the ladies and Ms. Ida, the owner, asked how she could help me. I showed her a picture of the style i wanted and started asking questions . She immediately advised me that the braids and style I chose would be too heavy for my hair and would cause breakage. Ms. Ida took the time to give me advice about my hair texture and the style and braids that would be safe for my hair and look good on me. I loved how she was honest with me but made me feel good at the same time. After talking with her, I knew this was the establishment for me. I decided to go with the style she suggested. She gave me several colors of hair to choose from and told me to take pictures so I could show my husband to get his opinion I made an appointment to come the next day, and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere of the shop is so peaceful and relaxing. She made sure I was comfortable and satisfied the whole time I was getting my hair done. She is funny and kept me laughing, and we connected right from the start. Her personality is genuinely kind and happy, and she and her staff are very professional and actually care about the client. Her prices are reasonable, and she did an excellent job on my twist. My head was not sore, and the twists were full but not heavy. I got so many compliments and questions about the style and how good it looked on me. I have already recommended her to several people, and I will continue to do so! I highly recommend Kami African Haiir Braiding. Ms. Ida and her staff are the best!!"
