Reviews of My Thai
"Pretty good food served here. I have tried better Thai food, but it's not bad. Prices are quite reasonable and portions are good too. I tried the classic mango sticky rice and the pad see ew without any protein. The pad see ew, which I ordered in a 1/10 spice level, was still a bit spicy. It had a slightly bitter flavor to it, and I am more used to the sauce being a tad bit sweet, which it really wasn't here. The noodles were cooked well, though. Nice and chewy, thick. They include an adequate amount of vegetables, including cabbage, carrots, and broccoli. I would have liked the broccoli to be cooked a tad more. Not bad, but not the best noodle dish. The mango sticky rice was quite good, though. Mangoes were clearly super fresh and sweet. They don't include that much sticky rice, which is usually my favorite part. Lots of sweet coconut milk. Also, a little carrot flower on the side. All in all, pretty solid for $5. In general, this is a solid Thai spot. I wouldn't say it's my favorite, but it did the job. Pretty decent pad see ew and mango sticky rice."
"The food was delicious, the spice was also on point we ordered a spice level 3 and it was perfect. Very creamy, thick and fresh tasting. Packed with flavor. Ordered a beef noodle curry, and a Singha, wife ordered duck curry with the starter sampler. Service was also very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back."
"Wife and I went to My Thai for the first time. The waitress was attentive and made sure everything was ok. The food was phenomenal. We started with the appetizer sampler which we devoured. I also started my meal with a cup of Tom Kha soup with shrimp and a spice level of 3and it was very good. My wife had the Duck noodle soup 0 spice level which was delicious and I had the Pad Kee Mao/ Drunken Noodle spice lvl 3 which again was very good . Would go back and recommend this place for people to go and try out. Thank you for the good food and and the personable service ."
"Despite living so close to this place for a couple of years, I somehow wasn’t motivated to try it out until yesterday when my mom was craving Thai at 9pm. This seemed open at that hour and we walked in. It really is a lot nicer inside than it seems from the outside. We were promptly seated and ordered their vegetarian appetizer sampler to start with the papaya salad. Both were pretty good. The eggplant crisps are definitely recommended. Their menu is full of vegetarian options and nearly all their dishes can be made vegetarian! Yay! We ordered the green curry with vegetables for our main course and the Thai-basil fried rice. Their serving sizes are quite large and we ended up taking a lot of food home. I did think that a lot of their sauces, dips and even the curry tended towards the sweeter side..tasty though. I’m not sure if that was because we emphasized “no spicy at all” or if that’s how it is. I’m definitely going back and checking out more items on their menu. Curry fried rice for one caught my eye! Also, don’t miss their lemon ginger tea. It was the most soothing end to a great hearty meal on a cold night."
