"Everything about this place was amazing! From the service to the food and even the milkshakes, I loved every single bit. My boyfriend and I were on vacation in Pittsburgh and were glad that we made the stop here, it was a perfect 10/10 experience. If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely be stopping!"
"I visited and enjoyed everything! Our go to affordable date night and was met with a pleasant surprise. We tried their delicious season cocktail, the Holiday Cookie Martini it was smooth, creamy and nostalgic from the blend of winter inspired spices. We also enjoyed Mike’s Scratch Margarita, it was quite strong but equally delicious. Then we each had a build your own grilled chicken sandwich, which was so yummy as usual. Oh yea and our server Caitlyn tied everything together and made our experience much more enjoyable with her drink recommendations."
"I’ve been eyeing this place up for our visit to Pittsburgh for a while now. I love a good burger! Street parking wasn’t difficult to secure, the wait wasn’t awful, and we enjoyed the local sites and views while we waited. We had lunch and it was decent. I got Morty’s Steakhouse burger, and while the burger was cooked as ordered, the burger and onion crisps were a bit on the greasy side. My daughter ordered the double smash burger and reports that it was 8/10. I also enjoyed a Strawberry Basil Shag and the medley of flavors was absolutely delicious!y kids are big on souvenir t-shirts/stickers but when we asked out server about merch she said we’d be better off ordering online. This included the charity t-shirt notated on the menu."
"I usually expect the worst from gimmicky restaurants but the food here was pretty good. I had the piggy butter and jelly burger. It was good but the peanut butter and jelly was nearly undetectable. I had forgotten what Burger I'd ordered until I got a little taste of peanut butter on one of the last bites. Still, the burger itself was cooked perfectly which is very unusual. My wife got the wicked wings. She didn't care for the rub they used in them but said they were okay other than that. I liked them but thought the rub was too cinnamon-forward. The server was attentive, friendly and energetic. Overall, a good experience. Food is good. Most of our complaints are due to personal preference but we'd eat here again."
"Date of visit Sat June 24th After a day of exploring Pittsburgh along the waterfront in the North Shore neighbourhood, we found ourselves looking for a nice lunch. In the area along North Shore Road, there were numerous dining options. We chose Burgatory not knowing it was a local small chain restaurant. Usually we try to avoid chain restaurants and opt for smaller independent eateries instead. The menu was fairly extensive – with a lot of great options. To order burgers – they provide you with an ordering pad where you can choose all the toppings, bun choice, burger options, cheese choices etc. There are a LOT of options to choose from and there is something for everyone. Vegetarians and vegans will definitely get a great meal here as well as gluten free, etc. The Meals are presented beautifully. The food is amazing. The flavours are spectacular. If you order a milk shake – some of the options are pretty over the top. They offer the milkshakes in boozy options as well as booze free. We took our milkshakes to go to enjoy as we continued to walk through the city. I had the Key Lime milkshake and others had birthday cake, salted caramel etc. They were a great milkshake and lasted for many blocks as we continued to walk. The waitress was very pleasant, friendly, helpful and patient. The prices were not bad – very reasonable. This is a great burger place and roguetrippers highly recommends it.."
