Reviews of Ghost Town Trail/Hoodlebug Trail - Black Lick Trailhead
"A fun place to hike. Some unique sights to see, especially with the train "graveyard" and the remains of the bridges that you pass, and lots of beautiful nature along the Black Lick River."
"Awesome trail. We did the Ghost creek half marathon, it was located there. The race started at the park where there was ample parking and areas for prep. The trail is hard pebble, very comfortable on the feet for a long run. It is a gorgeous trail with lots of sun and shade. We did 13.3 miles a there and back. There is one bathroom house along the way to be used. The trail is all along the creek."
"What a great bike trail! It has lots of local history as well as breathtaking views along the Black Lick Creek. The mile markers are helpful to see how far you have ridden."
"Wonderful parking lot at western end of the 36-mile long trail to Ebensburg. There’s plenty of spaces for shuttles or vehicles with trailers. In season restrooms, ball fields. No food or drinks (other than water fountain)"
