"I was introduced to an employee from Easton branch. I was told good things about Unity bank, I should figures another bank that just wants your money and terrible service. I opened the business account. Myself and partner inquired about business funding with this employee, she stated well it be hard to get conventional funding and referred us to a gentleman who would be able to link us with all type of funding and including unconventional funding, we thought well its trust worthy since its Unity and this employee is with Unity, We'll long story short, we were asked to pay $5000 up front for processing, nothing came of it and the gentleman could not be found. I find out from a friend who is in finances that he was fired and has vanished. I was also told by another friend she was referred by the Unity bank employee and the gentleman did the same to her and her family. I than find out this gentleman was the ex of the Unity bank employee. No apology or explanation from this employee and all the bank can do is worry about me Depositing money in this account. I called to close the account and spoke to employee K, not to mention her name. She didn't even ask why I was closing the account. Terrible bank with inexperienced, unqualified and glorified cashiers. Terrible bank and just the same...mine as well deal with Truist. I get better service and care from Wells Fargo. 11/10/23 I am updating and revising my review. Shortly after my initial review, I had received a phone call. I was personally contacted by the CEO of Unity who took the time to listen to my complaint and concerns in regards to my interaction and experience with Unity. He listened to my entire story and experience and showed complete care and concern and sincerest apology. The CEO and other team members addressed my issues and offered a great resolution and was able to satisfy my issues and made me whole again. I was impressed and pleased with the outcome and did not expect to receive any feedback or response from Unity let alone the CEO personally himself to speak with me and resolve the complaint. Very pleased and thank you so much for your time, care and respect."
