Reviews of VEGZ
"Amazing Indian food - best I've ever had. Everything I got was vegan (most of the menu is), service was quick AND very reasonably priced considering the huge quantity of food you get with the meals. Gobi Dosa and Aloo Gobi pictured."
"Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for South Indian Vegetarian food. It is a very small establishment but the food is really amazing. The service is also excellent. We went to eat here on back to back days while visiting Washington DC."
"Delivered food from here this time. Although I did experience the dine in option a while ago and tried dosa tacos. This time ordered something different like the samosas, cauliflower Manchuria and Chili paneer. The delivery was really quick and took about 20 mins. We liked the samosas, they were good. The Manchuria, taste wise was spot on but I wish the cauliflower were crisper. Same with the paneer, taste was 10/10 however the texture of paneer of more like a 6/10. Over all, we enjoyed the food and will order again."
"No frills place perfect for authentic North Indian food. We had a blast feasting on dal rice (must try), saag Chana and chapati. Hands down best chapati in DC area, as various restaurants serve roti and not chapati and if they serve chapati is frozen chapati. But vegz makes it on a grill and it’s delicious. Minor comment on dosa - it’s too crispy. They could improve it by spreading the batter a bit thick so that’s it’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The dosa chutney is not to the point - they could improve it by following the South Indian recipe - equal parts of frozen or shredded coconut, Dalia , roasted peanuts with fresh chili and they’d take off in South Indian recipes too Over all it’s a very nice place to grab a quick bite thanks to a quick service."
