"The trails aren't perfectly maintained, but they roll and meander through some of the prettiest landscape in the area. There is a slightly precarious floating bridge, and you may want to wear leg protection, as the grass and ferns are tall and the trails narrow, but this is one of my favorite places to visit off the beaten path."
"This is a beautiful place to check out. It has the feeling of a northern canadian small lake. There is a trail that circles around the lake. But it was rather difficult to follow after a fresh snow. But made it around the lake regardless of not following the trail. But it was a tough hike through the spruce that surrounds the lake."
"Beautiful place! I wish it was still open as a campground. We have many wonderful memories of camping there. The trails are still there and some what maintained. Wear waterproof shoes when hiking there. Pack a picnic and stay a while."
"Very nice place to visit during all times of the year. I went with my friends in the winter and the entire lake was frozen. The trails are very nice and at the far right side there is a cool floating bridge that takes you across the lake its super fun!"
"I visited around the beginning of September with plans to hike. The area is beautiful. There are permanent outhouses here without running water. The lake it beautiful with many people fishing. The maps are also well marked with a nail indicating the location. The hiking trails we're a bit too overgrown for my liking. We were walking through ferns and other greens while on the trail. After about a quarter mile, we were already covered in ticks and decided to turn around. It would be better if more trail maintenance was done. It is absolutely beautiful here though."
