"My fiancée made an appointment over a week ago with Gina for later this week, after explaining to whomever answered the phone how devastating it has been since losing so much of her hair without warning from an allergic reaction to something new she tried using to remove stubborn product buildup. After watching her cry all week every time she tried looking at herself in the mirror as she patiently waited for this appointment to get here so she can leave the house without something covering her head, I am furious to learn they canceled her appointment after she waited all this time for it, two days beforehand; I suspect it’s because she only scheduled a scalp treatment and haircut with a color consultation for a follow-up visit to ensure she doesn’t react to too many new things at once, and perhaps her services weren’t expensive enough to fool with?? The excuse given was an erroneous receptionist-in-training who wasn’t authorized to schedule new clients, however, she specifically asked someone there how much a haircut-only would cost a new client looking for advice on future lightening services. My fiancé is devastated over how they handled this. If they didn’t want to do her hair, the least they could’ve done was not waste the entire week she got psyched for someone to help her feel better about how she looks. Rude, discourteous, unprofessional, and clearly lacking any meaningful real-life experience…this seems like Humanity 101 when it comes to how you treat people, especially those who are in worse need than most. Any woman who can hear my fiancée talk about how she feels as a woman with bald spots from follicular trauma, get her hopes up that she can help, make her wait a week until a day or two before the actual appointment and randomly cancel it citing “scheduler’s ignorance” is NOT a good person and is NOT someone I wish to support in ANY way. Boo! Shame on you, Industry Hair."

"I went to Jen for a cut and color - 10/10 chef's kiss absolutely amazing. I have curly hair and it's hard to find someone who knows how to cut curls. Jen did a fabulous job with my cut and color. I simply showed her a picture of what I was thinking and she nailed it 100%. The most impressive part though was that she got my curls to cooperate after the cut when she styled them. Normally my curls tend to freak out after a cut and look more wavy than curly. But Jen was able to style my hair exactly how I'd normally do it any other morning. That was the cherry on top of my experience, and it definitely solidified me as a returning customer. I highly recommend this salon!"
