"Pakora Pakora is a savory, deep-fried Indian snack made with chunks of vegetables such as potato, cauliflower and eggplant, or meat of choice, which is then dipped in chickpea flour, seasoned with turmeric, salt, chili, or other spices, and deep-fried in ghee. It is a quintessential Indian snack, easily found on numerous street corners and most popular during spring, when the locals choose to celebrate the monsoon season by eating fried foods."
"Wooow ! Treat for your taste buds. Delicious non veg Indian varieties in list . New year celebration starts with the heritage food festival . We had chicken tandoori and butter Naan , butter chicken masala. Note : price are bit higher so don’t plan with a big crowd . But foods are really good."
"Unlimited brunch was lovely. We tried almost everything on the menu and the stars were the lentils, lamb rogan josh and chicken tikka. The food was fresh and waitress very attentive. Definitely worth a try if you’re visiting the National Cathedral."
"Updated review: I am EXTREMELY disappointed to be changing my review from 5 stars to 1 star. The last time I came here I had a wonderful time so I told my two good friends about the great brunch. We were super excited about it and I drove them from Arlington just to show them the amazing brunch place I have been telling them about. We walked in at 1:30pm after a family who got seated right away and started ordering. The Indian lady then said RUDELY she had no more tables for 3 and we could wait 30 min, or we could squeeze in on a table of 2. We decided to do the table of 2 since we were super hungry. So after finally sitting, it's about 1:40pm. We wait another 10 minutes and finally the old Indian lady comes and tells us super rudely "no more brunch today, you need to come before 1:30 to do brunch. You can order off the regular menu instead." There should have been enough time until brunch ended at 2:30, so we didn't mind ordering a bunch of things early on, but she didn't give us that option. We stared at her dumbfounded that she didn't bother to mention that earlier before we even sat down. I've never been treated so rudely, it was like we were a BURDEN to her when in fact we drove quite far just to give her business!!! She basically just kicked us out. I was SO embarrassed to have brought my friends here, and have them treated like that after I recommended this place. Never ever coming back to this disgusting place ever again. I will actively tell people to avoid this place. We had an AMAZING AMAZING time at 2Amys instead, so go there if you are reading this review. This "restaurant" can burn down for all I care. The place also smells like my old Indian auntys house and has a depressing vibe. Just stay away. Old review: Delicious bottomless brunch with strong mimosas and fast service. Highly prefer this type of bottomless brunch to the eggier versions around DC. The only negative was the dahi balla tasted stale. Everything else was spot on delicious and well made. Give it a go!"
"DC local here and repeat offender of this establishment. I consider this place as one of my hidden gems purely for the weekend brunch. It is excellent at an extremely reasonable price point. I cannot attest to anything not on the all-you-can-eat weekend brunch, but I can promise you that everything you get from the brunch menu is fantastic! I personally love the chicken Tikka and Murgh makhani. Every time I have friends or family visit, I make it a point to come for the brunch. The service might not be anything special, but I have never had anything wrong with any of the servers I have had in my many visits. I strongly recommend people try the brunch because they will not be disappointed!"
