"It's wild how a person can have such different experiences all by who's working. Last week, I came in for the first time ever. It was great. The food was great, and the music and service were excellent. I had two bartenders constantly checking up on me. This time, I show up for brunch again. Nobody would acknowledge me. I was the only person sitting at the bar. A kid was messing with some computer screen and his hair that wouldn't acknowledge me. Almost directly across from me. There were three women at the end of the bar that kept looking over at me, but nobody would help me. They just played with their phones and gossiped. I finally got up and left. The poor host girl saw what was happening and tried to stop me from leaving. I gave them more than enough time to at least say hey and acknowledge me. There is no way I was staying after that. Sad, it was such a pleasant experience the first time, but now I doubt I will be back."

"Amazing experience here! Great food and drinks. The patio area was so beautiful with the water fountain and tons of vegetable plants all around. I was so happy to hear from our waitress that so much of the fresh produce grown onsite is used as ingredients in the food! Large selection of mixed drinks and beer. It was a great dinner and I can’t wait to come back!"

"We eat here often, and we like everything about this place. It's attractive and has an outstanding bar with a great selection of craft beers on tap. With the beer selection, the emphasis is on area beers. The ciders are to die for, with usually two on tap, brewed by the owner's brother. The owner tries to buy local with food, as well, patronizing small farms as much as he can. Much bigger cities than Washington would be proud to have such a restaurant as this, but the food is much more reasonably priced than it would be in Pittsburgh. The menu is fairly limited, but it's easy to choose how much money you spend, with the combination of starters, small plates, handhelds, and large plate meals. In addition, the chefs put on good specials that serve as nice variants to the standing menu. For example, a regular offering is lobster mac n cheese (it's a generous serving), but twice lately the evening special has been a different mac and cheese: spinach, mushroom, and artichoke, and then chicken enchilada mac and cheese. Both were delicious. The waitresses tend to stay employed here a long time, and they recognize us and give us our favorite place to sit. They recommend menu items because they know what we like. Best hometown restaurant ever!"

"Yoooooo!!! This place was incredible. Excellent service, excellent beer & liquor selection, and the best pork chop I've ever eaten. Seriously awesome. My 2 friends had a Delmonico Steak that was awesome and blackened tuna also looked fantastic."

"First time dining here. We sat inside and there was plenty of seating. They do have a nice outdoor dining area. All of our meals were tasty and the portions were generous. We had several of the signature cocktails and they were creative and delicious. Our waitress Denise was great......she explained and recommended various food and drinks. Will definitely be back."
