"Bring your wallet because it isn't cheap but it is well worth it. The waitstaff is as friendly and professional as you'll find anywhere. The dining room is very comfortable especially the large booths in the middle. Steaks are great as is anything else I have ever ordered here (great scallop dish) my only gripe is that they did away with the Sunday prime rib special. Oh well it's an imperfect world we live in."
"Spent Thanksgiving dinner here with my Father in law and husband. Wasn't sure what to expect and went in hoping there would at least be mashed potatoes. The Thanksgiving offering was a 4 course meal for $48 per person. All the food was delicious. The meal included soup, salad, turkey dinner with all the fixings, and a choice of pumpkin or pecan pie (the pecan was 1000 times better!) I also had the best espresso martini I've ever tasted. Our server did a great job even though the place was packed to the gills! She was very personable and enjoyed our Christmas attire. We also had jumbo cocktail shrimp and calamari. JUMBO was an understatement. I highly recommend Ditkas but be prepared to spend big bucks!"
"I tried this Ditka’s location a couple of years ago and really didn’t think it was worth the money nor worth re-visiting, so I hadn’t until recently when a friend who’d never been wanted to go, so we went… four of us as a business dinner. The server was OK and the venue is nice, menu is decent too. But their execution of the food isn’t very good. I started with their crab bisque and it was tasty, but wasn’t hot, like soup normally is. We got their large nachos to share and the beef in them tasted interesting, but these were also not hot; in fact, they were somewhat cool. For my entrée I tried their twin filet medallions with crab cakes. The mashed potatoes were very flavorful, but cool. The green beans were tasty and hot. The filets I asked for medium, but they were well done. I couldn’t even eat the second was, as it was too tough and dry. I cut into it and showed the server and she acknowledged and asked if I wanted new ones, but at that point, it wouldn’t have mattered, it’s very easy to get this right in the first place, they need to do that, rather than try to make up for it afterwards. Needless to say, we won’t be back."
"This place was surprisingly awesome. This particular location was basically in the middle of nowhere...near the airport hotels. But I must say, it may as well have been on Rush St in Chicago. Our server was great, although he .ay have been assigned too many tables. The food was amazing from the delectable calamari to the sumptuous pork chop... Everything was on point. Once the food was ordered, it miraculously appeared within minutes. The salmon that sat upon my salad was cooked to perfection and hot. This placed was resoundingly Baused Up!"
"We rented a back room to hold a memorial dinner for my grandmother. Our waiter was attentive to our whole party and the menu for our gathering worked for everyone. The food was delicious and we all had a wonderful time. Thank you all so very much!"
