"We added a coffee bar to our kitchen on an unused wall. Challenged with the task of matching counters and cabinets with existing ones, Anthony helped me design one using a beautiful wood counter and floating shelves. It looked so purposeful and like it was already part of the house - it fit in seamlessly! The process was also smooth from the consultation and design program they used throughout installation. Communication was consistent and clear with all people on the project team. I was aware of payment deadlines and ordering statuses throughout. After install, there was a tiny issue with the custom wood counter and they came, checked it out and replaced it right away with care and professionalism. You may be able to find cheaper contractors out there but i trust the quality and professionalism of SoMD and would recommend them!"

"I have had 4 projects completed by Anthony and his awesome team. They have remodeled a guest bathroom and installed new carpet. Most recently they installed lighting in a room with no existing lighting and installed new flooring in our master bedroom. I am thrilled with the new lights and new floor. All the workers were very nice and respectful. John the drywall guy is AMAZING and always does an excellent job. He double checks his work to make sure it’s perfect and he takes pride in what he does. I plan to use this company again in the future with other projects."

"You know how when you go to a fast food restaurant and sometimes you have to wait awhile but you don't mind because you can see that people are working and trying their best? Well, dealing with Southern Maryland Kitchen Bath Floors and Design is the exact opposite of that. I was told that the remodel of my (very small) bathroom would take less than a week but it took 4 weeks!! Now, I have an older home and issues were expected to arise but the delay was mostly due to waiting entire days to get quotes for change orders (they don't move forward until they are signed and paid in full), workers just not showing up and days when they said they were there but there was no evidence any work was actually done. Near the end of the third week, the manager came out to talk about the problems I was having; this was completely useless as he just blamed everything on me and acted like he was doing me a huge favor by even talking to me. For instance, I bought a vanity at Lowes rather than paying thousands for a custom vanity from them, he said the reason they hadn't done any work the past two days was because they were waiting for us to put the vanity in. Well, no one told me that! Then, he told me they hung a piece of drywall to put the tile on as a favor to me because they didn't charge me for it. As I told him, they are the experts and if they forgot to charge me for something as basic as that, that isn't my fault. I could go on and on about the infuriating experience I had with Southern Maryland Kitchen Bath Floors and Design, just do yourself a favor and stay away!! It was a really disappointing experience for me, as something I had been saving to do for years turned into a nightmare I couldn't wake up from. I've waited a few months to post this, hoping I would be less upset, but I am not. This company is terrible & I feel obligated to share my experience with others to help them avoid getting ripped off as I did."
