"We never swam here but would stop on way to hike at minister rocks! Used to be able to see it from the road but haven’t been up that way for several years now?! Read one review that said there was trash in the area so they would never take their kids there and personally if I had stopped there and seen trash I would have just cleaned up the trash instead of…well to be honest you’d have to move to another planet altogether to avoid trash/litter!!?? It’s EVERYWHERE!!(directly besides public trash cans?!) If you don’t want to see litter in some area all you can do is clean it up yourself and I’m thankful for everyone else who cleans up the earth and ashamed for all who just sit around ONLY complaining about it!! I’d even take kids/gloves/garbage bags/ and tell them you wanna swim we will pick up all the trash first then have fun! They’d have even more fun after they helped make the area a nicer place than if they just went straight to swimming!"
"We visited frog rock on the 4th of July weekend after it had stormed harder than Poseidon's shower stall, my friend was standing on a rock by the shoreline of the river. He started carefully stepping towards the edge to see where the rock ended. After a short second he completely vanished from sight with nothing but an audible sound akin to a brick being tossed into an unsuspectingly occupied toilet bowl. After several seconds had passed and we were thoroughly convinced he had descended into Davey Jones' locker, he finally emerged from the water's surface like the creature from Black Lagoon. It was an overall enjoyable experience. Frog Rock was not going to claim another innocent and buoyant life today. Nice try though. Would return."
"My daughter's first time at the frog was still to cold to swim out to it but coming back later in the year"
"We were there on July 17th, my first time ever seeing the frog, looks like froggy got a recent paint job!"
