"What a change for the better. We figure we try this place after a bad experience 6 months ago. The food and service were great. I ordered the itilian hoagie with fries, and Mother got the sphegetti and meatballs. The hoagie was very good tasting. I just wish they had more lettuce on it, and the fries were good also. My mother definitely liked the sphegetti and said it was a definite improvement from last time. She also liked the 3 meatballs. The coffee was fresh and they gave you a bigger cup than before. The bad waitresses are gone too. We will definitely visit again. Visited again and got the fish sandwich and bacon cheeseburger. It was excellent"
"Tried this spot on a work trip to Pittsburgh. 1st...they have VERY GOOD COFFEE. I think that is priority one at a diner. The food was good. I had the Hot Italian Sausage omelet. The sausage was not hot, and it was only little pieces. The Rye toast was very small. All in all it was a good choice. The prices are right."
"Pike Inn now operates ghost kitchens, which are terrible. Ordered: grilled chicken salad w/ranch Houston medium burger, fried onions, blue cheese, cheddar, BBQ Buffalo Chicken wrap Received a salad with no dressing a overcooked burger with raw onions and no sauce, And a fried chicken salad, no buffalo wrap? Not sure what happened to pike Inn or what these ghost kitchens are but they can't read a ticket to save their life and obviously don't know the menu. Didn't even eat the food since it was so terrible and got full refund. Days of good pike inn are over"
"This is classic Hometown diner fare with a mid-20th century, perhaps 1950s, decor. I was there for lunch and had a wonderfully tasty chicken salad sandwich, plump, great-tasting fries, and chicken noodle soup, with iced tea. They have a broad, though perhaps a little pricey, breakfast menu that they serve all the time. There are many lunch specials, and dinners include nice Italian offerings."
