Reviews of Roaring Run Trailhead
"One of my absolute favorite places to visit. The views are always breathtaking, there are rarely lots of people. A great place for my dogs to join me. There are tons of options for places to explore at different levels of difficulty. Most times I go, I rarely see any other people. There isn’t cell service so keep that in mind."
"Beautiful, safe, well-traveled trail for walking or biking!!! Great place to launch kayaks or canoes!!!"
"pretty, flat, uneventful trail along the river, which is nice! the furnace trail is a slight elevation, and supposedly, the waterfall is on private land, which I didn't notice until my way back (because i turned before the waterfall trail and hiked up the creek) A not so exciting trail for avid hikers. id consider it a relaxing stroll."
"The trails were only a little muddy, and just a few downed trees. There's a nice route back on the gravely bike path, but people should know the side trails can get steep."
"Awesome trails for all ages! Lots of parking in main lot or upper lot. The lower lot closes at dusk. Portable clean restroom is available at this trailhead. Launch spot for kayaks is accessible from lower lot. The main land trail is crushed rock and suitable for walking or an easy bike ride. There are several trailheads off of the path through the woods for hiking or moutain biking. Beautiful covered bridge less than 2 miles from the trailhead. Very well maintained and clearly labeled trails. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area."
