"Five stars is not enough! Would give more if possible! I had the opportunity to go to the restaurant in Hopewell. It was amazing!! I had the jerk chicken tacos and my husband had the pepper steak. If you like spicy then jerk chicken is the way to go. I also ordered the plantains. Since I moved back to Pittsburgh almost 30 years ago, it has been difficult to find good Cuban food or Jamaican food. No one here knows how to make a good plantain - until today! The food- amazing! The staff were so attentive even though they were so busy! The food portions are phenomenal As I sat eating my amazing tacos and listening to Bob Marley, the vibes that I was getting took me back to Monty’s on the Bay in Coconut Grove ( mid 70’s/early 80’s). Not the restaurant itself but the dock where the conch fritters were abundant, the drinks flowed and sailboats were moored on the dock. Priceless ! Will definitely be back!"

"You have got to give Leon’s a try! Their food was so incredibly good!! I got the oxtail w/rice & peas and added the jerk chicken. My hubby had the pepper steak with Mac & cheese, and we got the fried plantains for our appetizer! It was so delicious!! Our server was great! She was so much fun! Highly recommend!!"

"Love this place! Great Caribbean feel and everyone that works here is super nice. It isn't fast food, so if you're in a hurry make sure to call ahead. All the food is really good so be sure to step out of your comfort zone. If you're sensitive to spice make sure to ask if a dish is spicy."

"Having just gotten back from the Caribbean last week, this place is legit! The meat pies are amazing and so flaky. The fried fish appetizer was easily enough for four and made fresh. I got the goat as an entree and it did not disappoint one bit. The place is BYO, and just allow yourself ample time for the food. It’s made fresh, and it’s well worth the wait. You can taste the love."
