"I had been looking for a labyrinth to walk close to me. There are several in Pittsburgh. More than I thought actually. Some you can access with a fee and others are not easy or permitted. It doesn't seem like much but if you look at the blocks all the early mills have a personally signed block around the edges. Some are lost now to history.. walking the labyrinth is a slow meditative process in which you can call your personal mantra or prayer. I enjoyed it very much"
"The labyrinth is a Memorial to the lives lost at the Battle of Homestead. It was dedicated on June 12, 2009. Lorraine Vullo, is the creator."
"I cant explain the strange feelings I got here, like i was not alone. Later that night i had very vivid and odd dreams. I need to go back to see if i have the same experience."
"Cool place to look out over the Mon River and have a bit of fun in the labyrinth, but the trash everywhere ruins the overall appeal of the site. In fact, there’s a saddening (or infuriating) amount of trash all along this section of the GAP Trail."
