"I have been to many barbershops including Dominican ones. I watched all the guys and I can say all of their cuts aren't as crisp as others out here. They also spent more time talking than cutting which is clearly the problem. To be fair, the clients they had don't look like they would get the more modern and crisp cuts so it could just be lack of practice. I will also say they were all pretty hospitable and nice which I rarely see at a barbershop. Unlike most of the Dominican/Latino barbershops they actually can speak English. The cut was $35 which I didn't think was worth it."

"Horrible experience with Orlando. I like the barbershop but never going back again. I’ve had more then one bad experience with Orlando giving me attitude. First time was when I asked him to cut my hair lower and the second was today when I had to ask him to even cut the top because he didn’t touch it at all and then he rolled his eyes and started tossing things around. He either smells like weed or he’s always stopping to go outside and take personal phone calls. No haircut should take 1.5 hours"

"Moved to Baltimore about a month ago, needed a Barber. I am from NY so I'm used to get a haircut from Dominicans. Came to Crown Barbershop because I read the reviews here and I trust reviews quite a lot! When in and received a haircut from one of the guys I think he was new because the haircut was really bad. I am not to complain about a bad service I just change the service. The haircut was $25 the guy was not going to do my line, I had to ask about it! He didn't do my beard properly and I was just truly disappointed! I was about to leave the barbershop and never come back, however, when I was leaving "El Menol" stopped me and fixed my haircut, including my hairline even though he was cutting another client. I was very pleased with his service and how he cleaned me up and fixed the poor haircut I received! I recommend going to this barbershop and ask for El Menol, if he's too busy just ask HIM who would he recommend tho! But He is legit! I will come back tho"

"I’ve been getting my hair cut here since I was a junior in high school and I'm now 22 and in the military. Every time I come back home when I’m on leave and I need a cut, I will go to no other shop besides Crown. I usually ask for Carlos since he’s cut my hair the most out of any barber there, but everyone is fully capable. The guys are so talented and funny. Some say “they take a long time” but that just means they’re putting extra care into making sure you look good. Hands down, best barber shop in Baltimore"

"I booked an appointment online through Booksy with Fernando but when I arrived he was unaware of the appointment. I was on a tight schedule (hence booking an appointment two days prior) but I was willing to wait. He mentioned that I would be next after his current cut but last minute added two more people in front of me. If your barbershop is going to use appointment booking services make sure that your barbers are aware of bookings and can accommodate it with their walk in schedules without having to waste a potential customers time."
