I needed a queer-safe space that understood alt haircuts and I got above and beyond what I could've hoped for. Zoe gave me a stunning curly cut with body and layers that worked with my natural texture along with bangs that are easy to style. I felt completely in control the whole experience and the emphasis was always on my personal goals for my hair and keeping options open for straightening or curls. I've already been asked multiple times by friends if I'm wearing a wig because of how full my hair looks compared to before. I had given up trusting salons with my hair and hadn't been to one in YEARS. "Was a little nervous to find a new hair salon, but I stumbled across the perfect place! Shelly the owner is super welcoming and has a wonderfully decorated shop. My original appointment was canceled due to snowy conditions, but they quickly took me in for the following day! The salon was nice and warm despite the cold weather outside, and hair stylist Byron was an absolute pleasure the entire time. I got 12 inches chopped off, with some shorter face-framing pieces. Byron was very receptive to want I wanted, and delivered perfectly! He talked through what sort of products he was using to style, and took his time to make sure my hair was perfect for my elopement. So happy and will definitely be back!"

"Theresa rescued my hair after a very BAD haircut that I got at a different salon. The cut that I got at the other salon was an absolute butcher job. I called Crafted crying and they fit me in for an appointment within three hours. Everyone was super kind and (I can not stress this enough) very generous with their time. "I've been coming to Crafted since 2016, almost 8 whole years (!!!), and this is the best salon I've ever been to in my entire life. Dawn has been cutting my hair since then, and she is the absolute best to hang out with AND gives you an incredible haircut every time. The vibes of the shop are really inclusive and friendly, and they go out of their way to make you feel at home while you're at the salon. I've sent everyone I know who needs a haircut to Crafted, and they've all had an incredible experience (even my Mom, who has thick hair and has always struggled to get haircuts that she likes!). I used to be really afraid of or reluctant to get haircuts before I came to Crafted; I have curly type 2a/b hair and most salons didn't know how to handle my hair.
