Boyce Park
About the Business
Boyce Park, located at 675 Old Frankstown Road in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a sprawling 1,096-acre park in Monroeville and Plum Townships. It is home to the only downhill skiing and snow tubing hills in the Allegheny County Parks system, making it a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts.
In addition to winter activities, Boyce Park offers a wide range of amenities for visitors to enjoy year-round. These include ballfields, a wave pool, hiking trails, a skate park, event shelters, and an archery range. The park is named after William D. Boyce, the founder of the Boy Scouts of America, and was one of the first regional parks to be dedicated in 1963.
The Carpenter Log House within Boyce Park features a spring house, barn, and educational center on pioneer life, providing a glimpse into the area's history. The park is also supported by the Friends of the Park, a group of local volunteers appointed by the County Council to advocate for the preservation of Allegheny County Parks' natural beauty.
Whether you're looking to hit the slopes in winter or enjoy the great outdoors in any season, Boyce Park has something for everyone. For more information, you can contact the park at 724-733-4656 or check snow conditions at 724-733-4665. Visit Boyce Park and experience the beauty and recreational opportunities it has to offer.

Reviews
"We love this park so much! Activity areas for the whole family!"
"I came here to run some trails in the morning. Pokémon Go has all the trails in its map, so I could easily figure out where I was going without slowing down. I got in 6 miles and only covered the East side of the park. Wonderful trails for mountain biking, hiking, or trail running. I’ll have to come back and cover the areas I missed."
"Nice pavilion for a birthday party. Cub #1 sits down off the road. Parking on road. Handicap persons would have to be driven down to drop off. Not much parking at this pavilion."
