"This place is great. We’ve had our 3 daughters haircuts scheduled here twice now and the cuts are great, its clean, everyone is friendly and the cost is very reasonable. Highly recommend. But, would recommend an appt!"

"Garbage, I would rate it at 0/5 if it was possible. I set an appointment and, unbeknownst to me, their scheduling software allowed for another customer and I to set appointments for the same time and with the same stylist. After I arrived, the employee at the front desk explained the double-booking and, despite it being past the appointment time and the other customer having not arrived yet, they advised I would have to wait and they could probably "squeeze me in" after finishing with this other customer (even though I had an appointment, and this other person was not even present). I tried to be cooperative and waited, even though this other customer failed to arrive by the appointment time so their reservation should have been null and void, and 10 minutes later I got a call back stating they were ready for me and to come in. As I walked back up to the door, the other customer finally showed up (almost 15 minutes late for their appointment), and to my surprise the employee at the desk said they had to see this other customer first (despite both of our reservations being for the exact same time, me arriving on time, and the other customer being 15 minutes late). After being pushed onto the backburner Twice for one cut, even though I had set an appointment and arrived at the designated time, I finally came to my senses and went to Great Clips instead. A lovely young lady gave me a fantastic haircut and it was $8 cheaper than what Hair Cuttery would have charged (which all went to her tip, so it worked out better for both me and the stylist). Her name was Cash and she operated out of the Great Clips on Waltham Woods, in Parkville, and I highly recommend seeing her (instead of trying to do business with a salon that has such a poor grasp of customer service). This whole experience just reminded me why I haven't been to Hair Cuttery in over 2 decades, and my only regret is thinking that I should give them another chance. Instead of responding to every review, the owner should spend some of that time on making sure their staff is trained."

"Best stylist I’ve ever had! Shahla has taken the time over the last year to get to know my hair texture and cowlick quirks (which are many!). Recently she recommended a dry cut so that she could see how my hair behaves in real life outside the salon. This is a real customized haircut for MY hair. It’s perfect…even when I do it! Great listener, master stylist. Thank you Shahla!"

"AMIKA was incredible with my autistic grandson, cautiously and sensitively explaining every step, and encouraging him throughout the entire cut of his very thick, long hair. He was already fearful of his scheduled stylist who wore a black mask, which she said she could not remove. Though we had to wait a bit for the next available appointment, it was worth it. His haircut looks so great and his experience was very positive. This is a very big deal for children on the spectrum, to whom new experiences and new people are of great concern. Another stylist shared her own personal experience with an autistic child and encouraged me too, while I waited! Hats off to your staff and training!!"
