"An easy trail to ride with falls about 1.5 miles in. You can take a break from biking to visit the falls or even go threw a tunnel to the river for a bit."
"A nice primitive surface trail. Several great places to camp if you are in need. I saw a bear on this trail. Several nice waterfalls along the trail around two miles in."
"There is a water fall down the trail a bit"
"Very nice trail runs along the Allegheny river. This trail is an unimproved old rail bed where the only improvements are the railroad ties that had been pulled out and left beside the trail. Most of the trail is grass, muddy track and forrest debis. Mostly shaded this time of year, it runs directly alongside the Alleghany River. Although, it was somewhat difficult to take in the views as I could not be distracted for long from what my bike would roll over or through next. This is an out and back trail. I've read elsewhere the trail ends at a no trespassing sign. Whether we got that far ... I don't know, we did see a "posted" sign, but at that point the trail was pretty much impassable due to logs, fallen trees, weeds and tons of sticks. We scrambled over or under at least two fallen trees across the way. There is parking area right next to the waste water treatment plant (about six vehicles). This is where we started, although the map shows the trail starts out nearer to downtown. A really nice ride or hike on a natural surface, no asphalt or loose gravel."
