"Got my hair done year years ago. First couple times was great. My last time was less than a week ago. My hair already needs to be redone. I paid 220 for a style that wasn’t 220 worth, the length wasn’t the length she said it would be, the hair wasn’t full, the cornrows were not in tight at all or correctly because the same day a a piece / strand of hair was poking out which sucked because it’s in the front. My cornrows are currently coming out I have no choice but to wear a hat. She told me cashapp and Zelle would be extra money because it charges a fee. So I asked her if I could pay by card so I won’t have to pay a fee. She told me it was fine. After she’s done doing my hair she tells me it’s gonna cost much more money if I pay with card and I should take money out the atm because it would be cheaper. The atm took large fee as well for me to pull out 220$. Her name is Michelle but I could be wrong. This is Judy my review because I’m upset I spent so much money to not get the style I wanted and for someone to not follow instructions…"

"I scheduled an appointment for Nubian twists. My first red flag was the braider (Michelle) showing up late while I waited in the lobby of the building). The second red flag was sitting in her chair and her telling me that I can't get the braids that I made the appointment for because they don't have the hair. I still sat there hoping for the best and wanting to give her a chance. The reviews were pretty good for this shop. I was shown a picture of a style and the hair used to do it. I agreed to the style and sat there while two ladies worked on my head. When they finished and I looked in the mirror I told her that is not what she showed me or discussed with me. Michelle then says that it's the style on the wall. We never discussed the style on the wall or agreed on it. I spoke with this stylist before paying my deposit. Spoke of my hair density, my concerns and what I wanted. This was not a good first impression, experience or style. I did have the braids removed and honestly wouldn't refer anyone that I know to this shop. However I was refunded my deposit, and I appreciate that."

"Initially I had an unfavorable experience. I posted a review and they reached out to me immediately to contact them since they remember me from my experience. They were able to get me in immediately and do my hair at a discount. They were great. Super courteous and friendly and really went out of their way to make sure that I was happy. And I was. My hair looks great. Thanks so much. I appreciate it. I will definitely come back. Businesses don't really have this kind of customer service these days; it's unusual. I really appreciate the way you guys took care of things with so much kindness. Thanks!"

"Update: Michelle offered for braids to be redone at a discount. She did my hair and they came out beautifully. They were full and even length. My braids are all different sizes and different lengths, please be very clear the size and length you want and check the braids as they go along. I made the mistake of just sitting there and 5 hours later my hair is subpar."
