Reviews of Queen Aliquippa Camp
"Best campground on the trial tbh. Comfy, cozy, tons of free space. Water, restroom, and free wood for fire all available here plus foot cell service. Was able to use my projector in my tent and relax around a fire"
"Raccoons are out of control here - as others have said. Heed the warnings they are relentless. I think because of its proximity to the city people come camp for the night and leave garbage behind. The garbage cans were overflowing with trash. Raccoons may not be such a problem if the site was pack-it-in pack-it-out. Also very loud trains throughout the night. One of the more scenic hiker/biker site though…."
"The raccoons are out of control! Even if you hang all your food they will still try to get in your bags and you will fight them all night. Epic battles happen here regularly at night between humans and raccoons. The raccoons are winning the war. The spirits of some of the dead in the adjacent grave yard inhabit the racoons. Perhaps thats way the are so barbarous. The guide book calls this free hiker biker site Dravo."
"Nice rest area in the middle of trail. There is a water, public toilets, plenty of benches and basic campgrounds."
"Working spigot for "showering," relatively new toilets, 2 adirondack shelters and a covered paved picnic structure, large flat & grassy spaces, quiet, separated from the cemetery by hedges, and free! Raccoons are pretty active though so secure your food well"
