"I visited Jackie’s for restaurant week. The hostess was kind, friendly and warm. The outside patio was spacious with an amazing view of the water. The breeze felt refreshing and the atmosphere was perfect for a intimate date. We ordered from the pre selected 4 course meal. My meal consisted of the crab salad, the watermelon salad, and the short ribs ending it off with lemon sorbet. The crab salad was delicious an it had a very nice refreshing seafood taste. The watermelon salad was sweet and savory. It was my first time having the dish and I would say it was one of my favorites. The short rib was tender. It got the job done but I desired more on my plate for $55. My drink of choice was a old fashion, which was strong and well-made. My partner order tequila dazzle which was a spicy tequila concoction very tasty. The drink menu is appealing I would take some time and be selective. I recommend Jackie’s as a great date night spot to keep things fresh and interesting. I would come again. Compliments to the chef."
"Went to Jackie with my family (about 10 of us total) on a Saturday afternoon for brunch/lunch. Had a great time. Service was awesome, the atmosphere was great and the food came out quickly. We did a last minute reservation, but they were very accommodating."
"We really enjoyed this place. Although I dinned here with my teenager and his friend, it’s more of a grownup vibe like happy hour with coworker, ladies brunch or date night. However it is still family friendly. The location is great, directly across from the National stadium. Very convenient for those going to the game. The establishment was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Our sever Hannah was awesome! The food was delicious. My fave was the pistachio torte. Very light and yummy. They also make ice cream in house which my teen loved!"
"Ambiance: the decor and the bar and the location was amazing. It was a nationals game that day and it still wasn’t crowded. Food: we ordered a bunch of apps and sides and it worked out perfectly. The bread with the black garlic butter was a great starter . I would skip on the broccolini, the mushroom croquettes, and the burrata. Definitely recommend the double fried chicken, mash potatoes, and the fries . Did not have the opportunity to try any entrees but next time. Drinks: watermelon tequila and the old fashion were worth it for happy hour. Service: the service wasn’t that good. The waiter never came to check if we needed anything after we got our food. Had to flag him down for everything. I think he forgot about us. He wasn’t well versed in the menu either. Otherwise would give it 5 stars."
