"Had a 1pm appointment on a Sunday, a day in which the salon is typically closed. Arrived at 1:12, with 2 potential new clients expecting to pay $180 each for box braids. Pulled into the parking lot, visibly seeing the owner at the door on the outside. Had my 2 year old and my two daughters… 45 degrees outside, zippening coats and pulling on winter hats; AND SHE PULLED OFF. My husband called, as he scheduled the appointment and she told him since we were late appointments cancelled. Fair enough and I respect the discretion of the shop owner. However, an element of successfully operating a small business is good customer service. We recently relocated to the area and I run a Dance academy for young black girls. Will never support this business."
