"The campfire smoke was overwhelming because each camper was packed in like sardines so close to each practically on top of each other & everyone had huge bonfires I smelled like I was in a house fire when I left but besides being so packed in & all the smoke I had nice time the arcade area with pole tables r pretty cool pool is nice free beach is beautiful yeah overall my kids had a blast & really liked the place & that's what really counts !!!!!"

"I stayed at the troll cottage at higbys and really enjoyed my stay. Cottage was clean and got cable tv with HBO. The have a really clean and beautiful pool. I love the little game room they have there too. We stayed for a week this year but next year I’ll be staying for two weeks. You really can’t beat the price."

"Been coming here for years. Started out in a tent as a youngster then a trailer. Now taking my kids here and still loving the place. Bath houses could use little more hot water but then again your camping and it's part of the experience. The arcade could also use a few more games and would love to have the juke box back from 18 years ago when I was a teenager. The last three years we went up there they had activities for the kids and picnics for memorial day and labor day weekend. The pool also seemed really well cared for and the kids loved it."
