"Great place to get a men's haircut. Great service and great vibe. Be advised it is a cash-only business but there is an ATM down the street at the Truist bank."
"One of the best haircuts I've had in the tri-state area. Some barbers just do what they want to do after they ask you what you want. This was my first visit here, and they cut my hair exactly how I asked. Will definitely visit again!"
"Worst haircut and even worse customer service. This was my second time. The first was just as bad. All the other shops around were booked and last resort. How they are still in business is beyond me. Go around the corner and get a proper haircut without the rudeness. He purposely asked to give me one’s back as change and short changed me on purpose. Didn’t even clean the hair off me when finished I asked to have my beard trim and he left me with a goatee. I had to go home and finish and fix the disaster he left on my head. Hands down worst experience getting a haircut."
"Final Update: So I went back in, came in without an appointment I was down in town and said well let me check in and just see, I was told I could get a walk in, after the gent in the chair because they had an opening, I was quite happy, and I wished it stopped at that, unfortunitly another gentlemen must have been late for an appointment and that coupled with what must have been a bad day led to me getting a lecture on the need to make appointments like I'm a 5 year old taking a candy bar, and the other guy getting a rather unbelievably rude beratement for being late (I get that being late causes issues and the guy should have "called" we also got to give it up to the train tracks being "Fixed" in the middle of rush hour but I was honestly a little taken aback and they guy even said you usually come in on time but then still decided to make the point that he needs to call, and that I need to make appointments, they guy did come back with a time my barber was 10 mins late with no notice and fair play I suppose but that would be one thing, then I asked hey I want to keep my length on the top and cut the sides and back low, I guess the need to rush means everything gets a one size fits all cut, and now my months of work is reset to nothing, but as I stated below in my other two reviews I have had good and bad, but what really made me re write this and swear not to go back is after all this, he hands me the card and says "Now youll make appointments because you get one strike...and if people get 3 strikes they need to find another barbershop because they are costing me money...One let me be clear I came in not expecting to get seen you said yea I can take you, I expect you as a professional to time manage and if you can't take me you say sorry come back and here is a card check our web. and Two what costs people more money then turning someone down if your to swamped is taking your lack of foresight out on customers and having them leave and not come back. So I guess I wont be costing this lovely place any money any more. I leave it at a 3 when its good its an amazing old field but when its bad it's a besmirchment of its legacy Update from my last review I went in not to long ago got the same gal, later in the day as a walk in and she did fantastic, everything went fine and as stated in my review before everyone has a bad day, This place is well worth the try and I'm keeping my prior review for complete transparency but 100% would recommend 4.5 to 5 star. First off before today I would give this place a 4.5 - 5 but I took my father in today and myself for early morning cuts, I have a cold so this hit a little harder but I have to say I had one of the worse cuts I have ever had, I got cut and the barber said "I dont know why its bleeding I haven't even started that section." I knew she cut me with the electric trimmer earlier but I didn't say anything. I asked to have it thinned out a little and keep the length and clean up the sides a little of the poof, and to be fair I also said I leave it to yall to make judgments on things, I was turned away from the mirror for 90% of the cut so I couldn't really tell what was going on. the top is long the back and sides are so short that it makes an odd mushroom style and it feel like it set my look back by atleast 4 - 5 months (going out my hair ect), nothing is layered and it just feels like no one was awake, same with my dads. it looks someone patchy. I have told lots of people about this place including my father, and I have gotten amazing cuts including the last one, everyone has off days but I just wanted to really state my disappointment in the situation. I almost don't want to go back, but I know that I have gotten great cuts here I would say I'll probably never go back for a morning cut (I usually go end of day closer to closing) , so honestly it was a 1 star day from a 4 - 5 star place. so I will likely return but I'll be extremely hesitant and if I have another like this I will find somewhere else and upon my next trip in I'll update this."
"Wonderful place and Barbers, everyone was pleasant! This is the only place that my son has gotten his haircut and really loved it. Thank you Kaylee!"
