"I have a brass floor lamp which I like very much, but it was old and not working properly. I looked online for lamp repair shops and decided to consult with Homeworks in Kensington. I described the problem to Carla on the phone and she thought it sounded like a socket replacement was needed. So I went to Homework’s. The appearance of the shop - bright, clean, organized - immediately gave me confidence. Carla greeted me, checked my lamp in and promised to call with updates. I specified that if the socket needed replacing to use a 3-way socket. Carla called the next day and I picked the lamp up later that day. The cost was very reasonable and yes, I have a 3-way lamp. Carla helped me tote the lamp to my car which was a great help. All in all, a super positive experience! Highly recommend Homework’s for lamp repair!"
