"Subject: Value City Furniture Formal Complaint Regarding the Paris Bedroom Set Assembly Issue Introduction: I am writing this formal complaint to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Value City East Point. I purchased the Paris Bedroom set online. The Paris bedroom set, the highest priced bedroom set available at Value City Furniture.? 7,0000. In less than two week of purchase and assembly of the bedroom set, the headboard snapped from the frame, causing significant damage. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue with the store manager Aimee Heilman ,she remained unresponsive and unwilling to address the problem. This complaint aims to highlight the poor customer service and lack of accountability exhibited by Value City Furniture in handling this matter. The Paris bedroom set, touted as a high-quality and premium product, has proven to be highly disappointing and very fragile . The headboard, a crucial component of the set, snapped from the frame within a week of purchase, resulting in damage to both the headboard and the frame. Seeking a resolution, I visited the store and attempted to speak with the store manager, Amy Heilman , who was conveniently unavailable. Instead, I had the opportunity to discuss the issue with another manager, Jamar, who initially agreed to replace the bed. However, despite providing the requested pictures to initiate the replacement process, I have received no response from the store. 1. Lack of responsiveness: Despite my efforts to address the issue promptly, the store manager, Amy, has consistently been unavailable. This lack of responsiveness is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the store's commitment to customer satisfaction. As a customer who has spent a significant amount of money on a premium product, I expect a timely response and resolution to my concerns. 2. Failure to honor promises: Manager Jamar initially agreed to replace the broken headboard. However, several days have passed since I provided the requested pictures, and I have not received any communication regarding the replacement. This failure to honor promises made by store representatives further adds to my frustration and disappointment. 3. Unwillingness to acknowledge assembly issue: The store manager, during my recent visit, refused to meet with me and denied the replacement of the broken headboard. She claimed that the damage was not due to material defects but rather an assembly issue. However, she failed to provide any specific rules or guidelines regarding assembly damage and instead made subjective assessments based on the provided pictures. This lack of transparency and consistency in determining assembly issues is highly concerning. In conclusion, my experience with the Paris bedroom set and the subsequent customer service at Value City Furniture has been extremely unsatisfactory. The broken headboard, which occurred within weeks of purchase, has not been addressed adequately. The store manager's Jamar unavailability, failure to honor promises, and refusal to acknowledge assembly issues have left me feeling frustrated and unheard. As a loyal customer, I expect better treatment and resolution to this matter. I urge Value City Furniture to take immediate action to rectify this situation and provide the necessary replacement or repair for the broken headboard."
"Love my new sofa, and received it less than a week after putting in the order. Make sure you sit in them in store before buying - the one I was going to get online ended up being uncomfortable to sit on in store. There was a minor defect on one of the cushions and they had a new one at my house the next week. Great experience!"
"Tiffany was awesome. I felt her positive energy when she greeted me as I walked through the door. I didn't feel any pressure from her to make a purchase. As soon as I had a question, she answered with professionalism. Kevin is not a salesperson but he definitely is the reason why I made my purchase. He has over 11 years experience at vcf and it definitely shows. I wish he was could benefit from the commission because it's well deserved. Great team!"
"I Really don’t like to do reviews, but I want to share with you some valuable information. Not only do VCF have beautiful furniture they have quality furniture that will last for years and the styles will stay relevant. Tiffany, goes the extra mile when telling you about the style and quality of the furniture. The staff doesn’t pressure you and make sure they have your best interest in mind. They also follow up to make sure that you are enjoying your furniture. They also have unbelievable guarantees to make sure that you are completely satisfied. They are very sharp and very respectful."
