"Great beers and wines with consistently good food. Although the menu is simple. Live music on certain nights. Small and intimate. Good place to take a date or meet friends. Small parking lot on corner and street parking available."

"Usually a solid dinner spot, but recently the service and atmosphere have been sorely lacking. Haven't seen Manny the last two visits (three if you count arriving to an unexpected closure as a "visit") and his absence was palpable. Currently without any front of house staff or liquor license, Red's is functionally operating as a takeout restaurant/kitchen for Racer's, which is a huge bummer considering what an awesome gem it was. The owners were visibly stressed when we arrived this time, and the service we eventually received was brusque and unwelcoming. Super disappointing."

"Just a quick review. Absolutely LOVE the food. The owners are both incredibly nice people and the food that the owner creates is beyond good. She is so kind and accommodating as to add or remove from the dish any ingredients you don’t like or add any you prefer so long as she has them available. I’ve come to Racer’s for well over 2 decades and always absolutely love the place from the old days of peanut shells on the floors and the old pool table in the back to its current state and the addition of food in my mind is tremendous. Gone is having to stop at Taco Bell or Dominick’s to get food to take there. Now I can get great food to go with the best happy hour and beer selection in Baltimore. Here’s hoping that Red’s remains for a long time."

"I had a family dinner here for my 21st birthday and it was an amazing experience! I was drawn to Reds for the the large wine selection, but everything about the restaurant was amazing. Manny waited on us and offered great knowledge about the wine selection, and was very attentive considering the amount of tables he was handling. I knew I wanted to come here for some time and had read the great reviews, but the experience was better than anything I could have anticipated. I’m so excited to come again :)"
