"We did Jan 1 2024 first hike of the new year. Took our adult children and Grandchildren. The Ranger and volunteer were so awesome and friendly. They had alot of great info to teach us about plants, birds and about the park. We love it there and have spent alot of good times there. Its very well maintained and ao many things to do. Our next adventure is to hike around the entire lake."
"Beautiful Fall colors and greatest lake wilham trails."
"Beautiful day of fishing for the family. Rented a pontoon boat for the day. It's a smaller lake, no power boats. Perfect for a relaxing lovely day out on the water. There are 3 large facilities you can access from the boat. The marina folks are great!"
"This is such a beautiful park and lake area. The walking and biking trails are so nice, and you get great views of the lake. The lake is immense, and it looks like you can take your boat there also. Certain areas of the trail were also very shady, so even on a hot day you will stay on the cooler side. There is ample parking and the park is convenient ly located very close to major highways."
"What a great trail. I visited just after Labor Day. It was quiet and serene and gave personal quiet time. An easy trail with small hills and valleys. Nature abounds here. Loved the deer walking across the trail before me. What I original thought was a hide for hunting, which puzzled me, being from the city it took awhile to realize it was a bat house, which makes sense. I definitely would visit again if I lived closer."
