"Very nice park. My husband and I really enjoyed it. But there was NO laundry rooms and the bathrooms and showers really need updated . The shower walls were not cleaned and the floors was dirty."
"Camp "Host" a pretty heavy drug user, ruining our clean air from about ¼ mile away. Had creepy people showing up after dark and parking at the bathrooms and disappearing until mid-morning. Hunters spotting one night in camp then firing towards the grounds from the N the next morning. Panic button on my car got the herd to move and the shots to stop. And it's directly under the airport flight path, noise wasn't as bad as the cell signal dropping every time a plane went over. Otherwise alright, I guess. State parks need to start drug testing these "hosts", can't find a breath of fresh air anywhere last 3-4 years. It's nasty and I don't need to worry about their creepy lurker friends while I'm in a tent."
"Beautiful, huge park...highly recommend wildflower preserve for a walk/ hike"
"Nice campground. And a bonus, a deer visited our campfire!"
"A reasonable state campground. Very minimal staff. Camp sites are electric only or no hook-ups. Be picky about your site because some of the sites are very small indeed. Also, sometimes the fire ring & picnic table are a ways off or even behind the site. On the other hand, some sites are very large with plenty of room to play. The dump site for holding tanks is not level, at all. Be prepared to level your camper at the dump site. Bathrooms are mostly fine. Do check the shower before you start. Some have less than zero pressure and may not provide hot water. The playground is a single slide connected to a plastic climbing wall and two swings. What is here is plenty of trails for hiking. I suggest having bug repellant. The park as a whole is pretty nice. In particular, the swimming beach is pretty fantastic."
