"First time there and my family loved it! We will be returning that's for sure definitely liked that they keep the beach area nice and clean absolutely loved that there was a few trees in the grassy area for shade! Didn't get to try out the concession stand (we brought our own snacks didn't know there was one) looking forward to doing that next time"
"The park is beautiful, the park Rangers are moody and rude. The bathrooms really could use a good scrubbing, but most of that is people who go and have no real understanding of cleanliness. The park is beautiful and pretty well maintained"
"The beach and grassy area are perfect for swimming and playing! Bathroom facilities are really my only reason for not giving 5 stars- they’re very rustic/not well kept- but to be expected in a state park."
"The place is beautiful and we love going there with family. I didn't give the place a 5 star rating just because of all the people smoking and poop in areas where these are not allowed. I understand it's more of a people problem than the park itself."
"This is a nice park. The beach area is clean, flat, and easily accessible. There are picnic tables, a swing, docks, and a special needs fishing pier. The lake is man made, and is fed by a few streams and springs. The water is always cloudy. After a rain, swimmers can get a little muddy in the lake. Like most PA beaches, there is not a life guard. PA Wildlife Officers periodically patrol the lot and beach."
