"The worst part about my review is Matilda did GREAT work when she did my 1st silk press in 2 years...the trim, press & everything hair wise was beautiful. Unfortunately, I won't be returning because there is no regard for people's time. My first time, I had an event that evening & had to push my nail appointment back twice due to waiting hours(no exaggeration)for my service. The 2nd time, I didn't get the full service I booked (treatment, wash, trim...thats it!!!) because I waiting hours. I had an 11am appt and had to leave with no trim at 2pm so I could get my daughter from school. That's been about 3 months ago...I think I'm frustrated now because I don't know of another natural hair care stylist & I refuse to go back here smh"

"Beautiful and resilient silk press. My stylist moved to Florida so ive been searching. I'd been to 2 other stylists whose silk press was a "no" press in 3 days. Unfortunately some people just do not know what they're doing. Matilda did an awesome job and husband loves it."

"I booked a 3:30 appt online for a shampoo, trim and detox treatment. When I arrived I saw her still doing another clients hair. I sat and waited. After she finished she had another client waiting before me and told me that her colleague will get to me next after she finishes with her. I did not get started with my hair until 4:40. The person who washed my hair very AGGRESSIVELY was combing the dandruff from my scalp. The treatment that I saw online is not the treatment that I thought I was going to receive for my detox. The actual product for the detox was lazily put in my scalp, I might as well have done the job myself. After getting my trim, I asked the store owner if I am still going to get charged full price bc of how long I had to wait. Instead of being apologetic she states “I was really backed up today. Watchu want $10 off?” To top this all off, once I got home and throughly inspected my scalp. I still had dandruff patches. Very unprofessional place, I highly do not recommend. Never again."

"BEWARE!! Matilda Showed up 90 minutes late to my appointment and heat damaged my hair. To add insult to injury, she cut my hair lopsided. I had to have another hairdresser correct her mess"
