They do their best to accommodate our requests when we need something last minute. They've served us for over 18 years and the quality never disappoints."

"Had lunch here with a few coworkers, and it was a hit! Their sandwiches were absolutely delicious and at a very reasonable price (eating in the city would probably cost double). This is a nice little hidden gem in a more residential area, so you may have to street-park, though it shouldn't be a big problem. Their dining area upstairs also has a lot of seating, and there's a lovely sunroom-like for smaller groups/pairs that feels so cozy and bright. There are far and few places where your food is displayed not only in the same fashion that you find advertised but the flavors are always consistent, fresh, and even after a full belly has you wanting more. I am a hotelier who has been in this area for about 20 years and for any group event my first recommendation has and continues to be 700 S. deli. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, including the hot trays , despite the variety none of their items lack in quality or taste. And can I mention again the presentation!?! "This is a great little gem. They serve up great smoked meat sandwiches and tasty homemade sides. For all you roast beef lovers - you've got to try this sandwich! Mounds of rare/medium rare beef on a soft bun. The tiger sauce is a horseradish and mayo combo wich compliments the sandwich perfectly. The potato salad and cole slaw were good as well. Outstanding!"
