"A great road trip stop, this park is really nice. Lots of wide open grasses spots to walk a dog, with a nice walking path too. There is a small parking area at the top to see the front of the bridge, but keep driving down the small road for additional parking and the trails. There is no signage that says this, only a sign that says dead end"
"We love taking our pups here and hiking down the river! It makes for such a fun afternoon! My girl, Sage loved going on a birthday hike here! There is a paved walking trail, a covered bridge, and plenty of green space as well!"
"Indian Trail Park established in 1908 also the site of the Ashtabula December 29th 1876 train and Bridge disaster. A quiet little park with a lot of reminders of the train disaster. There are powder Shack railroad ties left from the disaster. Walking around the shacks and under the bridge has a eerie feeling to it. There have been many people that have claimed to see spirits such as a woman carrying an umbrella a little girl and a homeless man carrying a stick and bag over his shoulder."
"Place is great. Can creek walk and explore. I would take the trail after the bridge for a better experience. It can loop all around. Or the paved goes down the middle of park. Has a nice little swing at end of trail for kids to play with. Perfect place for a relaxing walk or a family adventure!!"
"Very peaceful place and serene. Beware the bathrooms are just sheds with a Porta potty interior! Otherwise it's a very beautiful area with a nice river and beautiful scenery."
