"An absolutely incredible shop and one of my favorite places to go! I see below there are a few comments mentioning the lady that works in the store and I have to say that I completely disagree. The lady in the store is an absolute gem. She is very kind every time I’m in there, and she is an amazing person to talk to, she’ll talk about anything! I’ve gone in there so often that we both know each other and she has even shown me some items in the back that aren’t for sale yet! I go in there looking forward to see and talk to her! She is a truly sweet woman, and I believe any demeaning comments and rude things said about her have a whole other story that’s not being said on the customers part. She is not condescending whatsoever, and I believe people may get that impression because she is pretty talkative and a fast talker as well, but I have never felt there was any sort of malicious intent behind her words. The woman is an absolute gem, she always tries to sell me things, offers me deals, and loves showing people around the store. She may not be completely knowledgeable about all the items in the store, but she is a great sales person and makes up for it with enthusiasm! The other gentleman that works there with his boxer dog is also a very kind man! I met him today for the first time and was very very happy to meet him. He talked to me about taxidermy, and even told me about a potential taxidermy internship/workshop that he would try to get me the details for. We talked for a good while about taxidermy and the cool pieces we have in our own personal collection. All and all, anytime I’m in that store, I leave happily. The staff are great people, they have such unique antiques and taxidermy. They have items that range from western, taxidermy, Native American, Asian culture, and so so so much more. Such an awesome place. Truly one of the only Taxidermy places I have seen in Gettysburg. Whether people chose to continue shopping there or not, I will continue to be a devoted customer. I send all my love to the staff at Fly By Night "

"I came here to leave a review for the lady (owner) that works here. Then I saw the first review says the lady is rude. This is TRUE about her. She shouldn’t be dealing with customers. She snatched and grabbed my hand that had a dog toy! Not to mention talking condescendingly. I then heard her talking about me to her dog as I was making my way out. She won’t ever get a sale from me. Don’t shop here. She’s crazy"

"The woman running the store was incredibly rude. I asked if she had anything presidential. She said she had Lincoln and Washington, but to be more specific. I said just anything presidential, that’s authentic and not postcards. She stared at me and said, to be more specific. I genuinely was looking for memorabilia from any president and didn’t know what to say to narrow it down. At that point I said never mind. As I was leaving she laughed at me. I will never return to this business again."
