"This campground is well worth staying at. John the gentleman that checks you in is a very nice man. The ladies that work in the kitchen are all very friendly and very nice. Food is well worth checking out. We get up this way again we will be staying here. A very nice place to stay. There is a million dollar view of the lake from the restaurant. A real family friendly place to visit even with kids."
"Cash or check only! No biggie but you need to know. Wonderful communication with the owner. We stayed 2 nights in the "overnight" area. Very quiet Monday Tuesday nights. I can imagine this place gets hopping on the weekends with all of the semi permanent lots in the campground. Highly recommend!"
"Love this place. Clean, great people, paved roads for kiddos to ride scooters or bikes. And quiet at night, due to the number of early rising fisherman, which is great for Littles that go to bed early."
"We bought a permanent site last year and have nothing but good things to say about Camp Eriez. It is a perfect family place - the food is great, public restroom/showers are clean, the pool is wonderful and I haven't met an unfriendly person yet. In fact, quite the opposite - people go out of their way to introduce themselves and are very neighborly. It's close to everything and you can't beat the view!"
"We really enjoyed our stay here. For people complaining about no beach access, look around. I will say a lot of Erie doesn't have it!! But you can find it in Erie if you want to. That's no fault of the campground. The owners were nice. The lots were nice and paved. Fire ring stuck in the ground was nice. Nice to walk. Most of the people seemed friendly enough. Beautiful spots for sunset pictures. Temporary spots don't have sewage, but the dump station is easy access. I enjoyed this place very much!"
