Beach Road Round-Up

"So glad that they are open in the winter. Breakfast burrito was wonderful and actually more than I could eat. Next time my husband and I may split one. Great friendly service this morning."

"We went there for lunch in the 2nd week of November in 2023 and ordered one sandwich for each of us. The sandwiches were large and were quite tasty. The staff were friendly as well. Overall, it was a good experience and we would gladly go back there again."

"The breakfast sandwich my wife got (cheddar, scrambled egg, turkey sausage, on a bagel) was good and huge. My breakfast of bacon, eggs over easy, fried potato rounds and rye toast was good too, but it's hard to mess that up. Service was prompt and efficient but not friendly. In summary, this is probably the cheapest and quickest place to get a sit-down breakfast or dinner on the island, but it's not a "don't miss" experience. We were here in the off-season so in Summer your mileage may vary. Edited to add: The staff weren't UN-friendly or rude. Just unusually brusk for the small crowd that was there. Chincoteague sets a very high standard in general!"

"I just had the flakiest, crispest, most delicious fish and chips I ever had in my life! And my husband’s north herd burger was a taste explosion in his words. This must be the best kept secret this wonderful island. Will definitely be back many times!"

"Overall it was a decent visit, the owner/manager was very nice and personable. It's small inside so seating is limited but they do offer some outdoor seating. The parking situation is bad, especially when you get 3-4 larger vehicles, double parked cars, vans, trucks, suv, there is no space for anyone else to park. As far as food, I ordered the veggie omelet and it wasn't done all the way through in several spots and I didn't care for the turkey sausage links. The potatoes and pancakes were tasty though. They have a sign up stating they are short staffed, however as I mentioned to the owner/manager, I honestly could not tell they were understaffed as the wait time was no longer than anywhere else. Considering it is one of few restaurants on the island, their food selection is good if you're looking to dine out for breakfast."
