"I was here today as a guest of my aunt, a very longtime member x60+ years. We have come as her guests numerous times over the past 45+ years. Some of the lifeguards are very sweet, but overall this place has a very unfriendly/ trashy/ stuck-up vibe. (My aunt’s friends are nice people, but they’re getting older and the 20-something’s are a mixed bag.) The head life guard is a joke of a man, who sickly & unevenly wields his ‘power’ over little kids, -being kind to his favorites and repeatedly punishing those he does not like, including my child. This was not a one-time-incident. Similar issues occurred in a previous season. I am the mother of 3 sons, and I am THE FIRST one to call them out if they do something wrong. I don’t appreciate some twerp on a power trip giving my child time outs & reprimanding him nastily when the other children who were running or doing the EXACT SAME THING incorrectly do not get them…or any consequences for that matter. I also don’t appreciate him instructing other lifeguards to single out certain kids; he really needs to look around and see who’s listening to his comments about a child because my aunt knows just about everyone in this place and the truth always comes out…one way or another. The head lifeguard behaves like he owns the place and that the diving board is for his & his friends personal use. In fact, the only reason I know he is the head lifeguard is because this clown announced it to another lifeguard when insisting that the other life guard had to remove garbage, and not do it himself because he is ‘the head lifeguard.’ (Massive eye roll…He needs to get a grip, he sounded like a small man on a huge power trip.). Question for Rivercrest: Why is my mixed-race child the only clear and obvious target of this ‘head’ life guards punishments???"

"Hi Rivercrest I have just joined this year and this pool is really nice clean bathrooms a nice set up but one thing is the LIFEGARDS are snotty and only if you know the life gards they will be nice to you. ONE RULE IS TO NOT RUN AT THE POOL but then the lifeguards friends that swim and hang there get to run at the pool and not just that they get to do what ever they desire because they are friends and then I get yelled at by the same lifeguards every time an they think it's funny like some joke that they yelled at us for haveing water guns in the pool wile my fiend has been there for 3 years and they were always allowed in the pool and why can't you just have fun too many rules you can't do anything there."
