"I have been a return diner here at big mikes since he opened his door, firstly the food has always been very good but on the pricey side which is fine because not only am willing but expect to pay well for a good meal. That being said tonight I ordered 4 cheeseburgers and fries that totalled $84.00 . now I didn't complain I paid the bill picked my food up and left after paying... It wasn't until I got home that I decided to take a look at my copy of the receipt which was much different from they're copy! They charged a $4 fee for me picking my own meal up they charged a $4 fee for me using a debit card and they added a $10 fee for gratuity none of these fees are present on the merchants copy but they do have an added gratuity space so you can leave another tip ! Now I don't know about anyone else reading this but I think that is a little deceptive, and not good business practice so mike if your reading this you better remember where you're business is and who you're customers are because if you continue to do business this way here in the Northern Neck you won't be open long"

"I hesitated writing this review because I value small business and always try to give everyone a chance. However, I feel it is necessary after the fiasco that we have had. I am still embarrassed that I am the one that suggested this place to my colleagues. We planned a Christmas Luncheon at my work in Warsaw, and I was asked to give a few recommendations for caterers. I suggested three different local options, Big Mike being one of them. I have always seen Big Mike advertise his food and catering services, I have eaten his cuisine a few other times and never had an issue with it. We ordered 2 different meat options and requested extra meat, green beans, baked beans, rolls, sauce, macaroni n cheese, and dessert. To begin with, he was supposed to arrive with our lunch at 11:30. After waiting for 2 hours and frantically calling all 3 of his restaurants trying to figure out where he was, he finally showed up at 1:30 with five chafing dishes of cold food, lit a fire under it, and left. We received two pans of meat, two bags of hard rolls, one bottle of sauce, macaroni topped with cheese that was not even melted, soggy green bean casserole ( we ordered fresh green beans, didnt even bring us the right thing) that had never touched an oven, and half a pan of baked beans, it was not even full, you could see the bottom of the pan. The dessert was also missing. Now have you, this was for 25- 30 people. He told us on the way out that we would need to wait another 20 minutes to let the food settle, even though it was COLD already, or had never even been cooked. He quoted us $750, and this is what we were delivered. I am unsure if Big Mike ever made it right with my employer, but there was never even an apology to my knowledge. Lesson learned, never again. Mortified."

"Alright so we’ve been driving by this place for a while ( coming soon has been there for a long time)so when we finally saw it open we were excited to have a close place to grab a bite. Boy o boy what a Royal disappointment! The only positive I have it’s the server. First, I think it could use a bit of cleanup outside. A nice curb appeal will be inviting to customers. Back inside, they were out of everything we wanted from the menu. I’m writing this a few weeks after we went there so I don’t remember all they were out of. I do remember no lettuce and I asked about the side veggies. I’m not a can person( I always ask) and I was told that everything is from the can. Everything from the can in the middle of farm land ? How disappointing. Needless to say we will not go back. I really hoped to find some good fresh food. Sorry to say but I don’t know if it will make it unless the owner does something to improve their survival rate."

"Indoor & outdoor seating available. I appreciate that they are open daily, especially when most other places in town have such selective hours. I got the Philly cheese steak combo and it was tasty. The server was also very nice & gave my dog some water."
