"My mother spent YEARS as a loyal customer of his. When it came time to change carriers due to financial hardship this agent gave us a complete run around. He refused to cancel services for us so it does not look negatively on him. The only way I cancelled was when I called corporate for the 4th time and the rep called him with us silent on the back line. (FUN FACT: No such thing as a special cancellation form. The insurance binder which was provided to him would of sufficed.) While silent on the phone, Ben’s true colors started to show and the corporate rep was flabbergasted by Ben’s poor attitude. A complaint was filed and escalated to regional management. Ben preaches fairness and being unbiased. Your only a customer in his eyes up until you mention the words “cancel my policy”. My mother paid this man YEARs of wages and he did not even value this up until the end. Allstate’s motto “Your in Good Hands” was a complete lie."
