"I always start with a few pictures to show what outcome I’m wanting. So I show a few & discuss what type of roll technique. I told brick laid style, she did not do that. Then she used a lot of “straight pins” to hold the rods. I had to point out some strands of hair that didn’t get rolled. Some were still loose as well. I still gave her the benefit of doubt, after all, she’s the master. Then only about 20 mins to process. It’s never been that short, I’ve been getting perms for over 12 yrs now, it’s always taken over 2 hrs to do my hair. My hair is not long, but thick & grey,white, silver in color. They charged me $120. I was not happy when she was done, I know she could see that by my face. But I always wait until a few days, but as soon as I got to my car and looked the the mirror, it was already drying and I could see the straight pieces and could tell the curl did not take on a lot of my hair. She told me she only had to use one bottle of processing solution, they’ve always used two on me. So I feel that is one reason why, not all my hair got the solution. A master, I don’t think so. So I called, after taking pictures, and another person in charge made another appointment with another person. When I came to my second appointment, the first girl actually rolled her eyes at me! I didn’t say anything, but I should have and demanded my money back. The second girl I felt rushed me and I was under the impression she was going to cut my hair as well. Well the curl was better but not rolled as I wanted either and she didn’t cut my hair. I still tipped her $20, partly just to upset the other girl. I was not happy with the handling of the whole visit, my first time here too. Please don’t call yourself a master when you are clearly not! I’m so tired of people claiming they know what they’re doing and they don’t. And shame on the first girl for rolling her eyes when she was in the wrong. I am now due for a perm again, I just will not go back."
