Chips n Queso, Nachos, Wings, Quesadillas, Salad, & a variety of Jarritos. . Items Reviewed: (All tacos were 2 for $7) Their 3 Chili Marinated Catfish Tacos (corn tortilla tacos, with smoked crema, habanero pickled onions, & lettuce). STAMP!! A truly smokey creama, tender well seasoned fish…EXCELLENT!! Their Orange Soda Braised Carnitas (corn tortilla tacos with Curtido, smoked creama, American cheese, & Chicharones). STAMP!! A hint of sweet coupled with the saltiness of the carnitas…very well done!! Their Mojo Braised Chicken (corn tortilla tacos with avocado crema, enchilada sauce, & lettuce). STAMP!! Savory, & meaty…full of flavor!! Their Taco Night in America (on hard shell corn tortillas with ground beef, lettuce, Queso, & Pico de Gallo). STAMP!! My favorite!! Well seasoned beef, a fresh shell, what you cook at home…upgraded!! Their Crispy Chorizo Queso (with fresh tortilla chips, jalapeño relish, smoked creama, & spices $11.25). LIKE THAT!! A sweet relish, with that smoky cheesy dip…tasty!! Their Grilled Chicken Quesadilla (grilled chicken, Poblano peppers, caramelized onions, chihuahua cheese, tomatillo salsa, Pico, & smoked creama $13.75). STAMP!! "Caveat that this rating is based off one taco type but man was it superb. How well this was indicates the rest must at least be good or great. Great add to this eclectic food hall. The Roost is awesome as a food hall first of all. You sit anywhere, order and pay through the QR code, but you also get a high level of table service. Not only do they bring the food out to your table, a floating set of professional and courteous wait staff bring you water, plate, silverware and a cloth napkin (fancy). The whole hall is well designed and decorated. I went with the 3 Chili Marinated Catfish tacos with Smoked Crema, Habanero Pickled Onions, Shaved Lettuce. You get two tacos for less than $7 which is kind of a deal these days. The flavor was off the chain, just the right amount of heat for these tender on the inside / blackened on the outside catfish. Can't wait to come back and try some other creations from the menu."
